Exceptional standards 👏 Most welcoming staff create a wonderful laid back atmosphere 👌 Managers attention to detail is above and beyond and she will do all possible to accommodate the requests and needs of her clientele. Breakfasts amazing with plenty of choices on the menu all local fresh produce 😋 High teas available with a beautiful selection of cakes and sandwiches again all local and fresh 😋 Many information brochures available for places of interest on Anglesey and beyond, something for all age groups and interests. Love that you can bring your dog (up to two) with you plus if you dont have one you can always take Ringo (resident hotel dog) for a walk. Never felt so at home. Dogs are also welcomed in local restaurants wow what a community 👏 Can't wait for our next visit.

The room was absolutely beautiful, with en-suite bathroom including bath and shower. The bedroom had window seats as well as chairs and views towards the sea. We stayed immediate refurb and it was immaculate. The room had nice touches such as a tiny fridge, fresh coffee and a small decanter of sherry! We were greeted extremely warm,y by the staff and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was the nicest I’ve ever had (porridge made with cream and poached haddock and poached eggs - delicious!) The bed was very command the linen and towels excellent quality. This is a gorgeous, traditional, small hotel with a bar with fire and another lounge area with fire. We have recommended already and very much hope to be back! Thank you!

I rarely get up to North Wales, but when I do, I am never disappointed. This is a lovely little hotel. My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, a TV I could watch without wearing glasses, a desk so I could get some work done, and the usual tea/coffee/biscuits. What was a pleasant addition, particularly given the price, was the complimentary sherry decanter and chocolate bars and the dressing gowns. I ate downstairs, choosing the less formal bar area, and it was easy to see why this hotel has maintained its AA rosette status for so long. The seafood platter was fresh with a beautifully dressed garnish. The beef bourguignon was perfectly cooked and flavoursome. The service was friendly and efficient. I look forward to my next visit.

I used this hotel as a place to stay for a weekend hike. The staff are full of lots of little suggestions to help make your stay better. For example, they arranged to store a plate of food for me when I phoned them at 8pm, as I was still on my hike. Had a sumptuous fish platter washed down with local beers that they have in their bar. The breakfast menu is extensive, and includes full Welsh breakfast, and options for more fussy eaters, but also wonderful traditional options such as haddock poached in milk. They have fresh croissants that they get from a local baker and serve hot from the oven. It's a really nice place to stay.

The hospitality was outstanding, we felt so comfortable from arriving to leaving. Hazel is absolutely lovely and so welcoming - thank you so much. Ringo was a highlight he's so calm and beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. The road that the hotel is on has everything you need - shops, restaurants, pubs and a beautiful castle. So close to the beach as we enjoyed some beach fishing. The breakfast was great and nothing was too much to ask for. If we are in the area again we'd definitely stay at Bishopsgate.
